We are learning the letter Gg and the sound that it makes.   We looked at pictures of a giraffe, grapes, glasses, and a ghost.  They all begin with the letter Gg.   We also did many activities to learn about this letter and its sound.  Please work on this with your child at home.

Reminders

I asked for you to send in a spiral notebook.   This notebook will be used as a means of communication between us.  Each day I will write a sentence and draw a picture of something that your child has done during the school day.  In return, I ask that you also write a sentence and draw a picture of something your child has done at home that night.  We read it together and talk about it in class the next day. This back and forth writing is not only a valuable tool for keeping in close contact with each other, but it will also encourage your child to take notice of print and promote their literacy skills.

If your child is absent from school, please remember to send a note with your child upon their return.

Please check the folder and back pack every night and take out the completed work.  Please send the folder to school every day.
